TITLE:  FOOD SERVICE WORKER (Full time, Part-time, Hourly)

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

To assume the responsibilities and duties designated by the Food Service Manager.

 

FLSA:   Non-Exempt

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Appropriate education to perform required duties.
  2. Ability and willingness to follow instructions either written or oral.
  3. Personal standards of appearance and dress commensurate with those required by Food Service.
  4. Desire and willingness to put forth best effort in all assigned duties.
  5. Emotional stability and physical fitness to perform duties assigned and must be able to lift forty
  6. (40) pounds.
  7. Ability to perform both moderate physical work and continuous standing.
  8. Ability to learn prescribed food preparation methods.
  9. Courtesy and tact in dealing with people.
  10. Committed to the development of the School Food Service program as a part of the entire educational program of Nottoway County Public Schools.
  11. Such alterations to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS TO:  Principal, Food Service Manager or Designee

Performance will be evaluated by the Supervisor of Food Service or Designee in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of support personnel.
